Max Voichahoske Death, Obituary – Max Charles Voichahoske, 21, of Fullerton, Nebraska, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026, leaving behind a profound legacy of love for his family, community, and the land he cherished. Max’s sudden departure has left his family, friends, and all who knew him heartbroken, but his life will forever be remembered for the joy he brought to those around him and the passion he had for farming, his family, and the outdoors.

Max was born on July 30, 2004, in Albion, Nebraska, to Charles “Chuck” and Heidi (Wagner) Voichahoske. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith, and his life was deeply rooted in the values of faith, family, and hard work. Max attended Fullerton Public Schools, where he was not only a dedicated student but also an active participant in many extracurricular activities. Throughout his high school years, Max made his mark on the track team, FFA, and F Club, but his true passion was on the football field, where he demonstrated dedication, leadership, and an unmatched competitive spirit.

After graduating from Fullerton High School in 2023, Max continued to follow his passion for agriculture by enrolling at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, where he earned an associate degree in agriculture in May 2025. His love for farming and his commitment to continuing his family’s farming legacy were evident as he returned home to Fullerton after graduation. Max worked alongside his family on the farm, continuing the tradition of hard work that had been passed down through generations. He also worked part-time at Fullerton Livestock Market, further immersing himself in the community he loved.

Max’s love for the outdoors was one of the defining aspects of his life. He took great pride in building and growing his cattle herd, a passion that connected him to the land and the family farm in a way that was deeply meaningful. Whether it was spending long hours working with the cattle or taking time to enjoy deer hunting, Max found peace and fulfillment in the natural world. His family dog, Daisy, was his loyal companion, often accompanying him on his adventures. Max’s bond with Daisy was a testament to his kind-hearted and down-to-earth nature, and she will miss him greatly.

Max was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, where he shared his faith and love for his community. His quiet strength, gentle demeanor, and unwavering commitment to those he loved will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Max’s passing has left a void in the hearts of many. He is survived by his loving parents, Chuck and Heidi Voichahoske of Fullerton; his sister, Macy Voichahoske of Fullerton; and his grandparents, Charlie and Alyce Wagner of Wolbach. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, Kim Stroup of St. Paul, Mitch (Chasity) Wagner of Wolbach, Sandra Ihnen of Omaha, Gary Voichahoske of North Sioux City, SD, and Bob (Tammy) Voichahoske of Fullerton, along with many cousins and friends who will remember him fondly.

Max was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernard and Eleanor Voichahoske, and his uncle, Al Ihnen. His family has expressed deep appreciation for the support and condolences they have received during this incredibly difficult time.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Max Charles Voichahoske will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Fullerton. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery. The family will welcome visitors at a visitation on Wednesday, April 29, from 4 to 7 p.m., with a rosary service at 7 p.m. at the church. Palmer-Santin Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Max’s life may have been brief, but it was filled with love, joy, and an unshakable work ethic that will continue to inspire those who knew him. He was a son, a brother, a grandson, and a friend who lived with integrity, kindness, and a deep love for the land that shaped him. Max’s commitment to family, faith, and farming will remain a lasting legacy in the Fullerton community.

As his family, friends, and community come together to honor Max’s memory, they will remember him not only for his contributions to the family farm and the agricultural community but also for the light he brought into their lives. Max’s infectious smile, his love of life, and his deep connection to the land will never be forgotten.

May his soul rest in peace, and may his family and loved ones find comfort in knowing that Max’s spirit will live on in their hearts, in the memories they shared, and in the lives he touched.
